Yay Ray!

Tuesday, June 21, 2005 was the 61st birthday of my favorite misfit, Mr. Raymond Douglas Davies. The word "genius" gets tossed around so flippantly these days; I think I even heard it applied to Michael Jackson the other day. But if it's musical genius you seek, you need look no further than the Kinks in the late 1960s.
